Academy for Creative Teaching (ACT) - a unique institution for teacher training and education management services in India - has a rich resource of academicians and academic administrators. It is a pioneering body that has consistently been instrumental in providing pre-service and in-service training to teachers at all levels and also in providing institution-building support systems. It has been responsible for promoting a large number of schools in India and abroad. It also trains teachers in many institutions at various levels. ACT’s corporate wing offers workshops and training programmes geared to suit the changing needs of dynamic and quality conscious corporate organizations.

With its headquarters at Bangalore, ACT is guided by a high power Governing Council consisting of outstanding people of India. Justice M.N.Venkatachalaiah, former Chief justice of India is its Chairman. The Academic Council is headed by Dr. Rudraiah, former Vice – Chancellor of the Gulbarga University.

To date, ACT has completed more than 1000 days of training program, established 34 Schools in India and Abroad, undertaken Academic Audits of about 54 Schools, Published Three Books, and developed more than 50 curriculum units & more than 300 training modules.
